Emerge is currently recruiting candidates for a direct hire General Laborer – entry level Welder Job in Woburn, MA for our client, busy manufacturer of quality fabricated steel components used in construction. We are seeking candidates with vocational training in Welding and/or Metal Fabrication that would like to work in a general laborer position as they learn manufacturing and metal fabrication processes. Our client offers a pay rate of between $18 and $20 per hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities for the Welder and Metal Fabricator job in Woburn, MA include:

• Will help current production team workers including welders, laser operators, press brake operators and shipping/receiving/warehouse operations.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment.
• Will provide physical labor in moving and pushing and pulling heavy steel.
• Follow all work instructions and maintain quality.

Qualifications:

• Strong work history or education in metal fabrication/welding
• Able to lift, push and pull up to 50# unassisted. Able to stand all day.
• Good work ethic and desire to grow a manufacturing career.
