Canyon Pet Hospital is currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team in Beaverton, OR! We are growing and so have our staffing needs. We are looking for a passionate team player who holds a high standard of patient care while having fun !
In this position your primary role will be supporting our doctors by assisting with procedures and services and establishing a rapport with our clients and patients. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for FUN, LEARNING, RESPECT, WOW SERVICE and DO THE RIGHT THING.
Duties will include but are not limited to :
Supporting your fellow team members in an inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration and teamwork
Anesthesia monitoring
Surgical preperation and assisting
Dentistry and dental radiographs
Venipunctures, catheterization, and other procedures
Administer injections, vaccinations, and prepare medications
Obtain and prepare various samples including blood, urine, and fecal samples for diagnostic testing.
Provide compassionate, professional, efficient, quality medical care and exceptional service to clients while having fun and learning.
Obtain patient medical history from the client, observe pet’s behavior, collect patient vitals, and restrain pets during exams as needed.
This position is ideal for someone who likes to be busy , but not over-extended and has a variety of duties and responsibilities. This position requires adaptability, innovative thinking, and interpersonal skills to be successful in a team environment.

Compensation: The pay range for this position is $21.00 to $32.00/hr. Compensation is based on education, experience, soft skills and other relevant credenitals.
Schedule: Full-time or Part-time oppertunity. Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays (9am-2pm). Closed Sunday
