Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Server to join our team in a Senior Living facility. As a Server, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional dining experiences to our residents and ensure their satisfaction. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining environment while delivering exceptional service to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat residents with a friendly and professional attitude, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Take orders and deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately, following specified procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist in preparing the dining area for meal service, including setting tables, arranging tableware, and ensuring condiments and utensils are readily available.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and dining room staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Attend to all resident needs in a prompt and courteous manner, resolving any complaints or concerns.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other staff members to provide exceptional customer service and create a positive dining experience for residents.
- Assist in restocking supplies, such as beverages, condiments, and utensils, as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and dietary restrictions to provide accurate information and make recommendations to residents.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a senior living or hospitality environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, staff, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
