Job description

Organization
The OUHSC Transportation Supervisor is responsible for supervising department staff and coordinating daily operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable transportation services to the University. This includes performing a variety of administrative functions relating to establishing staffing levels, scheduling, training, written evaluations, and preparing transportation reports and vehicle logs.  Duties: Supervises and trains staff for the safe and efficient operation of equipment while transporting students, employees, faculty, and visitors Completes employee performance evaluations and makes recommendations, including personnel actions for staff.Ensures compliance of departmental rules and regulations Develops designated shuttle schedule and seeks efficient travel routesAssigns personnel schedules and routesMaintains records reflecting vehicle usage and maintenanceConducts routine vehicle inspections and schedules repairs on vehicles as neededEnsures compliance of all DOT and University of Oklahoma regulations to operate safely, including adhering to all traffic laws, state, and local ordinances Drives busses as needed and other duties as assigned
