You are a problem solver, quick study, self-starter, and an excellent communicator with a passion for extraordinary design and the ability to achieve it. You possess a blend of interaction design, visual design, and prototyping skills. Key Qualifications
- Degree in human interaction sociology, psychology, interaction design, visual design, or equivalent
- 4 years experience designing desktop applications
- Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles
- Demonstrable fluency with Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design tools
- Ability to do rapid prototyping in Flash and HTML5
- Complete mastery of MacOS and iOS
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Comfortable working in a loosely structured organization
- Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules

From brainstorming through implementation, the Product Designer will work with members of the Applications design team, as well as our engineering, marketing, and QA groups. The candidate has the ability to quickly grasp and distill highly complex matters into clean, understandable solutions. They are an effective diplomat with strong communication and organizational skills who is willing to prove themself within a company of talented individuals. The Product Designer is a key player in figuring out the future design direction of Apple’s consumer apps. We are looking for a visionary designer who is ready to and capable of taking software design to the next level.

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
