The Senior Events Manager, reporting to the Director of University Events, is part of a small team responsible for supporting the planning and implementation of University events, on- and off-campus and virtual.  The variety of events at Brandeis include, for example: Presidential / Provost events, Commencement, Spiritual Life, trustee events, visiting dignitaries, anniversary and milestone celebrations, dedications, groundbreakings, cultivation, stewardship, and fundraising events, receptions, dinners, and town hall meetings.  The Senior Events Manager is responsible for ensuring a high level and consistent image of the University in all public events.  The ideal candidate is both diplomatic and innovative, fosters strong and collaborative working relationships, and is familiar with Brandeis♠Framework for the Future. It is anticipated they may manage a student worker in the future as more events occur on campus.

Reporting to the Associate Director of University Event Operations, the Senior Events Manager is part of a team responsible for supporting the planning and implementation of University events. The role includes supporting institutional events that are a high priority for the campus community. Will also work to market, recruit and execute external events such as corporate meetings, social engagements, and other non-Brandeisian events. The Senior event manager will also have a campus constituent market segmentation assigned by departmental leadership. The ideal candidate has experience with planning events in a university setting, fosters strong and collaborative working relationships and is able to work in a fast paced environment.
