Job description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Corporate Risk/Insurance Manager to join our team. This role will involve overseeing our company's and franchisee's insurance programs, including Workers Compensation, General Liability, Property, and Aviation. Located in Addison, TX, this full-time, in-office position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $75,000 to $90,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes Dental, Life, Medical, Retirement, and Vision plans.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with our insurance broker to manage the insurance renewal process for company and franchisee insurance policies.
- Act as the liaison for the franchisee insurance program.
- Conduct regular claims reviews and oversee claim approvals and reserve changes.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks that could lead to property loss, injury, or legal liability.
- Review insurance requirements in client contracts and provide recommendations for resolving coverage concerns.
- Communicate risk areas to senior management and develop plans to minimize or eliminate these risks, while maintaining effective reporting and presentations as needed.
- Coordinate premium audits of policy compliance with carriers and ensure adherence to standards.
- Engage with external vendors and government entities as needed to address risk programs and policies.
- Develop, implement, and manage employee safety programs, policies, and procedures.
- Provide support, education, and training to raise risk awareness within the organization.
- Foster positive relationships both internally and externally to facilitate seamless and professional business operations.
- Manage OSHA reporting.

Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge:

- 7+ years of experience in risk/insurance management.
- Proficiency in workers compensation, property and casualty, and aviation insurance policies and claims.
- Intermediate or advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to obtain a Texas Property and Casualty Insurance License, along with non-resident insurance licenses in other states as required.
- Occasional travel of up to 10% may be necessary.
