Job description

Position Summary:

The Institute for the Study of Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing in the School of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers University is seeking a coadjutant to assist in organizing the Rutgers-Oxford Academic Symposium on employee ownership research. The responsibilities of this short-term part-time position include contacting experts, reading and evaluating their research papers, making an agenda, organizing the meals, and selecting discussants for the papers.  The coadjutant will give a special focus on Europe and other non-US continents to identify new scholars working in this area to invite.  This should involve considerable networking and emailing. They will help identify and recruit applicants for the Fellowship program competition of the Institute that is taking place during the spring, including making judgments about the likely basket of best candidates to consider, meeting with them, and encouraging their applications. In addition, the coadjutant will help with identifying philanthropic foundations that might be interested in the Institute's research and fellowship programs.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Ph.D. with relevant research on employee ownership; deep knowledge of research in this area.
