This is a full time/permanent position with an established General Contractor with projects spanning across Commercial, K-12/Schools, Municipal, Healthcare, etc. They have had consistent growth over the last 10 years, so they are currently hiring for an experienced Estimator.What You Need for this Position
- 3+ years experience as a Construction Estimator
- Experience at a General Contracting company
- Excellent planning and problem-solving skills
- Experience on any of the following projects: Commercial, K-12/Schools, Municipal, Healthcare, etc.
- Ground-Up experience - 1-10MM preferred
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Accounting, Applied Science, Civil Engineering (or related) is a plus but not required
What You Will Be Doing
- Own the Estimating process on projects (Budgets, timelines, planning, etc.)
- Ensure bidding, subcontractors, and requirements
- Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents and subcontracts
