Job description
Our client is adding a PE Structural Bridge Project Manager to their multidisciplinary team. This is a great opportunity to advance in your career with a family-focused firm in a remote position.
Structural Bridge Engineer Responsibilities:
- Design and Analysis:
- Manage a 4 member team responsible for detailed designs and calculations for various types of bridges, considering factors such as load-bearing capacity, stability, and safety.
- Utilize engineering software and tools for structural analysis and modeling. BRADD, MicroStation, OpenRoads, ASTA, and other bridge design and inspection programs
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the design process.
- Manage highway, bridge, and related projects in PA
- Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, geotechnical engineers, and construction professionals.
- Manage and oversee the structural aspects of bridge projects from conception to completion.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality control to ensure successful project delivery.
- Must have experience working directly with PennDOT Engineering Districts on the preliminary engineering and final design phases of projects, before the projects are bid on by contractors
Structural Bridge Engineer Qualifications:
- PE license in PA or ability to obtain reciprocity.
- 12+ years of experience in Project Management
- Manage multiple bridge projects with precision and efficiency
- Work with autonomy in a remote position
- Attention to detail, experience with PENNDOT, PTC, and Turnpike codes and regulations
- Ability to attend municipal meetings and travel within PA for meetings and site visits
- Valid Driver's License
Base salary in the range of $130K-$140K
