NA has a client in Austin, TX that is seeking a Instrumentation and Controls Field Engineer. This American multinational automotive and energy client designs and manufactures electric vehicles, stationary battery energy storage devices from home to grid-scale, solar panels and solar roof tiles, and related products and services. Day to Day: * The I and C Field Engineer will be out in the field checking on projects, completing RFI s managing projects onsite where needed * Will be working on a new project from ground up assisting with CMs and PMs * Break down schedules internally and breakout schedules * The Field Engineer will be working with engineering, architecture, and field teams to review the jobs and understand the status of where they are at and report back; Be able to look at a project and understand how complete it is and what is still needed * The Field Engineer acts as a liaison between the field coordinators and office design team * Reviewing plans, verifying project readiness, walking down P and ID, working close with field execution; Provide project updates on progress, installation, qualities
Required Skills : * Must be strong in Excel and PowerPoint * Ability to navigate a 3D Model using BIM and Navisworks * Must be able to read one line drawings * Must be able to read P and IDs * Engineering background is helpful * Basic understanding between logical and physical networks * Submit redlines to review * This role is a level up from Project Coordinator but looking for someone who is energetic and eager, willing to learn and accept challenges, all around hustler ready to prove themselves * Prefer someone close to siteJob tags
