Responsibilities
- Data entry of all accounts payable.
- Daily pull of vendor invoicing.
- Oversee drop ship customer billing.
- Oversee Inventory receiving and invoicing reconciliation.
- Review, reconcile and post all accounts payable daily.
- Reconcile vendor statements bi-weekly and monthly.
- Prepare accounts payable invoices for disbursement generation.
- Process bank deposits.
- Maintain accounts payable filing.
- Answer telephones directed to accounting.
- Interface with all customer contacts.
- Interface with warehouse staff, parts manager & order desk.
- Work with accounting manager and Accounts Receivable Manager in all other accounting related matters.
- Assist with month end process and close as required by manager.
- Cross training to cover accounts receivable when/if needed.
- Oversee accounts receivable – including monitoring credit limits, collections, and credit hold situations.
- Prepare, review and issue monthly customer statements.
- Oversee credit memos for various customer issues (i.e., warranty work).
- Reconcile daily posting of credit card & cash receipt processing.
- Claim processing for UPS and vendors.
- Process new customer accounts & credit applications.
