The company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to establish and lead a team at the new Warren, MI facility. As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all manufacturing and maintenance activities related to automotive powertrain and electric vehicle products. Your role will involve managing a team of engineers and technicians, optimizing manufacturing processes, implementing quality control measures, and ensuring efficient production operations. Your expertise will play a crucial role in driving the success of our manufacturing operations.
Must haves:
Manufacturing/Plant Leadership, Engineering Degree/Background, Plant Startup, Greenfield/Brownfield (new plant from the ground up/expanding or creating an existing plant)
- No sponsorships available at this time (US Citizen/Green Card preferred, No H1Bs, TN visas may be considered)
- No people with majority of OEM experience (Ford, GM, Stellantis, Nissan, Toyota, Hyundai). Prefer supplier experience.
- Team leadership/Cross functional leadership experience
- Understands automation and setting up a plant
