Day Porter
UP Management, LLC is searching for part-time Day Porter in Rock Island, Illinois! Be the champion for environment, health, and safety in the workplace! Work independently and use attention to detail with a cheerful demeanor while tackling routine cleaning duties without disdain.
Work part-time (25 - 29 hours each week) for world-class companies with flexible 1st shift schedule during standard hours of operation. Standard hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

What does a typical day or week for Day Porter look like? - Perform daily interior cleaning duties throughout main building and additional warehouse at Rock Island location including offices and common areas such as lobby, conference rooms, break rooms, and restrooms.
- Perform daily groundskeeping duties to ensure cleanliness of property and outdoor environment at Rock Island location including parking lots, sidewalks, and pavilion.
- Performs weekly interior cleaning duties at Moline location throughout small building including offices and common areas.

Qualified candidates meet the following requirements: - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required;
- Valid driver's license required; and
- One (1) year previous relevant experience required.
Physical Requirements Constantly moving and transporting up to 25 pounds with occasional moving and transporting up to 50 pounds. Traversing and moving for prolonged periods up to 100% of the time with frequent ascending, descending, or positioning self to move and handle items. Must be able to constantly communicate and exchange accurate information. Must be able to detect, identify, inspect, observe, perceive and assess day porter tasks, processes, and procedures. Constantly uses chemicals, equipment, and tools for cleaning and groundskeeping while performing repetitious movements. Frequent potential for exposure to toxic chemicals and outdoor climate. Occasionally operates and uses computer and other relevant equipment and office machinery while performing repetitious movements. Constantly works around firearms, bladed weaponry, historic relics, and valuable collectibles.
