Dover Precision Components delivers performance-critical solutions for rotating and reciprocating machinery across the oil & gas, power generation, marine, industrial, chemical and general processing markets. This senior position reports to the CFO and requires a proven financial leader with a 10+ year track record of success providing forward looking financial leadership, analysis, and reporting to the President and senior leadership team of Dover Precision Components. This position is also responsible for coaching the controllership staff with leadership and oversight of the Dover Business Services analysts. The ideal candidate will exhibit a high degree of ethics, detail and organizational aptitude and partner with the business to drive both financial and management reporting initiatives forward. The ability to collaborate across all functional areas of the business constructively and efficiently, within a fast-paced and growing manufacturing environment is key.
Position Responsibilities:
◾ The Corporate Controller will develop and implement robust procedures that create accurate, timely and relevant financial statements. They will also manage communications with and between the Dover segment office, and Dover Corporate Accounting. They will be accountable to coordinate the submission of month-end financials and management reporting with an emphasis on continuous improvement. They will manage the Dover Business Services shared services team and operating units to drive working capital improvement.
◾ Responsible for financial management of DPC, including safeguarding of assets. Maintain/enhance financial processes, including a strong internal control environment to assure the records of the company are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, Dover accounting manual, and other regulatory requirements, as applicable.
◾ Meet Dover Corporation reporting requirements including monthly reporting, quarterly reporting, year end
and tax reporting, including consolidation and review of supplemental financial information.
◾ Responsible for leading key cost accounting initiatives including annual cost roll, adjustment of product costing and drivers, and key management reporting activities including business unit P&L creation/maintenance.
◾ Support information requests from Dover and communicate monthly operating results, and strategic initiatives to Dover segment/corporate management as needed.
◾ Manage Financial Shared Services and drive process improvement in Accounts Receivable, including credit and collection, GL, Accounts Payable and Payroll.
◾ Manage DPC working capital. Develop and implement strategies to improve working capital, both within
the shared services group, as well as coordinating with the international units. Manage/enhance processes to review unit working capital initiatives to drive overall improvement in working capital.
◾ Support all acquisition activity, compliance initiatives and financial reporting in a detailed and hands-on manner.
◾ Minimize tax burden through effective global business planning. Annual coordination of Tax inputs for
Corporate Office.
◾ Complete tasks in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Manage corporate accounting and
coordinate related audits.
◾ Assist with special projects, Kaizen events, process simplification and ad-hoc specific projects as requested.
◾ Analyze operations to identify trends in the business; recommend/ implement specific corrective actions when warranted.

Essential Qualifications
◾ Minimum BS in Accounting, Finance, or other related discipline; MBA or Master of Accounting preferred.
◾ CPA and/or CMA certification.
◾ Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting.
◾ 10+ years ’ experience in professional accounting with proven technical expertise and leadership in driving operational finance standards, processes and procedures. Preferred experience within manufacturing.
◾ Expert user of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
◾ Experience with Syteline or another modern ERP.
◾ Experience with EPM software such as OneStream, Hyperion, Longview/Khalix
