Software Tester
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases with a strong emphasis on using code to solve technical challenges and shorten the test cycle through automation.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
- Monitor debugging process results.
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Ensure that all tested software meets functional and non-functional requirements.
- Conduct compatibility tests with third-party software, hardware, and network environments.
Requirements
- Proven work experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
- Solid experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Good understanding of Java, MongoDB, and Informatica.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- 10 years experience required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
- U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED to support our Federal client **NO EXCEPTIONS**

- Informatica Certified Professional (ICP)
- Informatica Cloud Data Integration Certification
Cloud-Specific Certifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
- Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect
