 **Multiple OPS (Temporary) positions and shifts may be filled from this advertisement within six (6) months of the closing date. **

POSITION DESCRIPTION :

This is an OPS SCNA Weekend Warrior position, responsible for providing direct nursing care to residents of the State Veterans’ Nursing Home of Florida, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Incumbent will assist with all aspects of resident care as assigned by the shift supervisor, including activities of daily living, ambulation, and mobility in facility. Respond promptly and courteously when answering call lights. Observe, identify, and report resident concerns or needs to the shift supervisor. Complete assignments timely, completely, accurately and in a cooperative manner. Follow established performance standards and perform duties according to nursing service and FDVA policies and procedures.

  This position is in the Other Personnel Service (Temporary) system.
