We are seeking three experienced Cloud DevOps Contractors to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering a Kubernetes-based Jenkins solution running on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to accommodate and scale large application workloads. The contractors will also be responsible for migrating application pipelines and configurations from an on-premise data center to a cloud-deployed solution. Once the new environment is fully tested, the contractors will decommission the old environment. The contractors will work in Agile teams located in the US and India, operating in two-week sprints. All resources will be remote and will need to use GPN-owned hardware to access resources to deliver the objectives.

Responsibilities:
Requirements:
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in software development and system administration.
Groovy and Python coding skills.
Github experience with pull request reviews using code branching strategies.
Terraform and understanding of IaC deployments through modules.
Experience with Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GCP.
Jenkins deployment and pipeline build experience. (with Jenkins extended shared Libraries)
Istio service mesh knowledge.
Experience in migrating applications from on-premise to cloud environments.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
Ability to demo and document progress on project completion deliverables.
Quickly learn from architectural building block diagrams and adjust the design as needed per product owner requests.
Previous work with Artifactory.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.

Provide updates to project managers/scrum masters and shift focus quickly based on business needs.
Security tooling to include Prisma cloud, WIZ, or any security code scanning software.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work in different time zones to collaborate with teams in the US and India in 2-week sprints.
