Because of our growth, extensive backlog of projects & wanting to keep innovating, we are looking for a VDC Engineer to join our technology team! 

What you will be doing 

The VDC Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and tracking of various virtual design and construction (VDC) projects. The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge of current industry software and technology such as BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, and others. This position will require the use of a variety of specialized software and building information modeling (BIM) to support successful design and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement virtual design and construction (VDC) processes into project workflows.
• Manage BIM models, AutoCAD designs, and related VDC analysis and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for VDC related issues.
• Ensure all VDC deliverables are accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with project requirements.
• Leverage VDC to support the design and construction process, including budget and scheduling.
• Monitor project progress and provide VDC related progress updates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Design, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a related role.
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as BIM, Revit, and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of VDC, building information modeling (BIM), and related software.
• Experience with MEP, Industrial, Manufacturing, Data Center, Warehouse, and Ground-Up Industrial projects.
• Strong on Procore 
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
