Qualifications
- 5-7 years professional human resources experience with an emphasis on employee relations, recruiting and conflict resolution is required
- Demonstrated knowledge of Federal, State and local employment law; specifically in Tennessee
- HR certification is strongly preferred.
- On- site position, requires regular attendance during established business hours which may include weekends and holidays
- Ability to handle various HR matters including interviewing and onboarding, conflict resolution, management of leaves and accommodations, dissemination of benefits information, etc
- Must be able to become proficient with several different on-line platforms.
- This position requires the ability to lead, motivate, and advise as well as work as a team member to promote a harmonious workplace.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel, recruitment, selection, compensation, benefits, labor relations, human resources information systems
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership technique
- Group presentation skills with the ability to conduct effective meetings
- Excellent communication skills to interact with a diverse workforce
- Ability to read, write and speak fluent English in order to communicate with fellow CASTmembers and the general public
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary
Other Requirements
- Must pass pre-employment background check and substance abuse testing; HR certifications will be verified.
- Valid Tennessee Driver's License with an acceptable driving record for past three years; driver records are checked annually
- Join and attend local SHRM Chapter meetings.
