Job Title: Corporate Financial Reporting Manager (Plymouth, MI)
Department: Finance
Summary: The Corporate Financial Reporting Manager, under the direction of the Director of Plant Finance and the CFO, is responsible for the management of all financial reporting requirements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and corporate level treasury functions. This includes reporting to Executive team, Creditors, Board of Directors, and multiple other users as needed.
Supervisory Responsibility Directly supervise Corporate Accounting Manager responsible for all treasury functions. Dotted line management over various financial reporting functions. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Responsible for all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and special projects
- Prepares financial statements and footnotes for auditors and other interested parties
- Provides timely and accurate analysis of financial reports and trends
- Enhances and/or develops, implements, and enforces policies and procedures by way of systems and processes that will improve overall reporting, efficiency and effectiveness
- Assists in efforts to upgrade and improve the software system finance module as needed;
- Assists in developing and implementing procedures to manage cash flow
- Utilizes computer and software programs to complete accounting and finance functions including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, Excel, Plex ERP, etc.
- Performs other duties as needed to support the Finance department

Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year College or University and five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA preferred but not required. Previous experience with Plex is a plus, but also not required.
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills Significant experience and skillset in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
