About the Role:

As a Research Pilot, you'll be at the forefront of innovative airborne research, operating our fleet of specially modified King Air aircraft. You'll navigate through the skies, exploring atmospheric phenomena and transporting our team to exciting destinations across the globe. From single-pilot flights in various weather conditions to collaborating with our scientific crew, every day will bring new challenges and discoveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as Pilot in Command for research flights, operating in both instrument and visual meteorological conditions
Act as Pilot in Command and Second in Command for transportation flights, ensuring safe and efficient travel for our team
Collaborate with our crew to maintain a culture of safety and excellence in all operations
Prepare flight plans, coordinate logistics, and support project operations for research endeavors worldwide
Embrace challenges of flying in diverse environments, from mountainous terrain to remote locations
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in aviation
Airline Transport Pilot certificate with multi-engine land rating
3,000 or more logged pilot hours, with significant experience as Pilot in Command
Valid first-class FAA medical certificate
Demonstrated ability to operate aircraft in various conditions and environments
Desired Qualifications:

Previous experience with King Air aircraft
Knowledge of FAA regulations and flight procedures
Familiarity with weather patterns and their impact on flight operations
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
