Job Summary:
Briggs Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Subaru Mechanic Technician to join our team in Topeka, Kansas. As a full-time individual contributor, you will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of Subaru vehicles. We are looking for a reliable and knowledgeable technician who is committed to providing our customers with high-quality service and ensuring the safety and functionality of their vehicles.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on Subaru vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment and tools
- Perform engine, transmission, and brake system repairs and replacements
- Install and repair electronic systems such as navigations and audio systems
- Perform warranty and recall repairs as assigned by the service manager
- Keep accurate records of all services and repairs performed
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to provide updates and recommendations on vehicle repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Subaru mechanic or technician
- ASE certification preferred
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools
- Solid understanding of automotive electrical systems and computer diagnostics
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
