Deere & Company is seeking an Engineer Quality I in East Moline, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or related field plus 3 years related experience. Required skills: Use Smart profile kotem: Dimensional analysis tool to determine conformance of parts and areas of concern (3 yrs); Utilize functional GD&T knowledge to determine part conformance and corrective actions (2 yrs); Use Creo View to manipulate models and display information (2 yrs); Leverage Folding Cornhead (Talon) and Hinged Draper product line knowledge to diagnose defects and aid in Root Cause Analysis (2 yrs); Collect and interpret appropriate data to drive fixture changes (2 yrs); Utilize SAP navigational skills to manage non-conforming material inventory; determine part data including sourcing, SM contact, routing, and costing informing; create and manage serialized and non-serialized qnotes; and access machine data (2 yrs); Use ISIR process to validate new supplier and HX parts and processes (2 yrs); Leverage Quality Systems knowledge to develop and execute Control Plans (1 yr); Identify and leverage appropriate data streams including SAP, PowerBI reports, production data, and warranty data to determine root cause and appropriately identify potential corrective actions (1 yr); Utilize NCCA tool to complete CAR activities (2 yrs); Leverage Design of Experiments (DoE) principles to determine root cause and corrective actions (1 yr).
