Job description

The Senior Knowledge Management (KM) Specialist will provide strategic and technical support to the home office and activity offices in KM. In addition, he or she will lead Panagora’s thought leadership and expansion activities in the sector. The Specialist will contribute to positioning Panagora as a leader in knowledge management and socializing our approach within the company. The position will also be responsible for Panagora’s Knowledge Management and Communications (KMC) strategy, contextualizing it to the needs of each project to reflect the sector of the work, country context and the project’s overarching goals and  objectives. The Specialist will support activity teams in developing and executing KMC strategies and systems, ensuring quality, consistency, and knowledge sharing across projects and throughout Panagora’s home office. The Specialist will also contribute to business development efforts, writing KMC content, reviewing proposals, and ensuring quality and consistency of proposed KMC, as needed.

Departments/teams will hold in-person meetings that involve a high degree of collaboration, where ideas are generated quickly and often feed off each other, e.g., brainstorming, storyboarding, proposal development, strategic planning, and performance discussions. Staff who reside in the DC/MD/VA area are strongly encouraged to work from the office on those days.
