Job description

We are seeking a talented Litigation Attorney to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in handling legal matters with a focus on professionalism and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing a caseload in alignment with firm, client, and court deadlines.
Collaborating with the Managing Attorney to analyze legal issues and formulate strategies for assigned cases.
Preparing and presenting pre-trial motions, pleadings, and attending court hearings and mediations.
Depending on your level of experience, conducting depositions and participating in trials at both state and Federal levels.
Coordinating with departmental staff to ensure timely updates to client systems and the firm's case management system.
Keeping clients informed about the status of their case matters in a timely manner.
Qualifications:

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about law and can contribute positively to our team. The ideal candidate should possess:

Admission to the Maryland or District of Columbia bar is required; admission to both is a plus.
Any previous experience in litigation and/or expertise in mortgage servicing, real estate law, or title litigation is highly advantageous.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to handle various legal matters in a high-volume practice.
A comfortable approach to working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
