About the Role:
As our Accounting Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, driving operational efficiency, and supporting our strategic growth. You'll be a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insightful financial analysis and contributing to informed decision-making.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee the accounting department, including accounts payable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting.
· Implement and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
· Develop and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP.
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of financial information and processes.
· Manage Sage 300 accounting system, including configuration, data integrity, and user support.
· Identify and implement opportunities to automate and streamline accounting processes.
· Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
· Stay current on accounting regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
· 5+ years of experience in a progressive accounting role
· Proven expertise in Sage 300 accounting software.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
· Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and focus on quality.
