Job description
Description: As a vital member of our team, the Project Manager will oversee the seamless execution of diverse capital engineering projects, specializing in gas treatment and RNG facilities. This multifaceted role entails providing adept project management and engineering support across various phases including procurement, fabrication, field construction, commissioning, and process enhancements. Additionally, the Project Manager will be instrumental in driving safety improvements, maintaining document control, and facilitating effective construction management activities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive scopes of work, technical project specifications, and guiding documents for assigned engineering projects.
- Identify and implement efficiencies in fabrication and construction processes to ensure adherence to schedule and budget constraints.
- Exercise diligent cost tracking and control, promptly reporting variances and forecasting potential overages or savings.
- Collaborate with operations teams and clients to successfully commission new plants, ensuring operational readiness.
- Efficiently manage multiple vendors, third-party contractors, and inspectors to achieve schedule and budget milestones.
- Collect and analyze progress data for reporting purposes and implement effective control measures.
- Provide on-site technical support during fabrication, installation, and field construction phases.
- Uphold compliance with industry-wide and site-specific safety protocols.
- Fulfill other duties as required to support project objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or process engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in an Oil/Gas Industry engineering role with a focus on capital or operational projects ranging from $1-5MM in value.
- Experience in technical troubleshooting of equipment, optimization, and equipment start-up is advantageous.
