What You'll Do:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Conduct patient education.
• Ensure that all abnormal lab results receive appropriate follow-up care as directed by medical providers.
• Provide direct supervision of Clinical Supervisor, Medical Office Associate (MOA) and Nursing Staff (Transition of Care and Nursing Case Manager)/
• Documents all interactions with patients in the medical records.
• Oversee and assist with triage of patients in accordance with written protocols
• Conducts patient assessments and prepares and updates care plans.
• Performs standing orders as directed by Chief Medical Officer.
• Provides initial guidance with support staff to ensure that the ongoing development and understanding of clinical skills are maintained by staff, completing additional education and training as needed.
• Work with accounting staff as needed to review provider encounters and expedite completion.
• Works with other department’s management to ensure adequate staffing within all Adult Medicine departments
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Healthcare Knowledge: Two (2) years of ambulatory case and at least two (2) year of supervisory experience
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in basic data entry computer skills.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Team Player: An industrious and cooperative nature to foster harmonious working relationships with clinic management, physicians, clinicians, and the public.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school, successfully completed state board and must have license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior CPR/First Aid certification
• Knowledge of The Joint Commission regulations
• Bi-lingual in Spanish, Nepali, French, Arabic
