An outstanding hospital in Central Colorado is in search of a new Laboratory Histology Technician.
This hospital has earned numerous awards for units throughout their facility. In addition, this 100+ bed hospital is accredited in many areas, but notably has a glowing record in their Laboratory Department. This well respected hospital is state of the art and has earned multiple awards for collaboration efforts and quality across departments. Laboratory Histology Technician will join an organization with an outstanding reputation in the community and across the state.
The Laboratory Histology Technician will report directly to the Laboratory Manager. Supported by a large team of senior laboratory technicians, this person will join a fantastic hospital in their laboratory as well as have the opportunity to grow in their skills and career.
The Laboratory Histology Technician will be diligent in performing a variety of levels of sample testing within the histology lab. This requires having a high level of technical understanding in how to correctly perform and evaluate testing. In addition, the Laboratory Histology Technician will be able to work independently and efficiently. Most importantly, Laboratory Histology Technician will be responsible for implementing critical thinking skills and be a team-player within the department. The ideal candidate will be HT or HTL with ASCP certification.
