We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director, Education, to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving growth within the K-12 education market. Collaborating closely with school districts, you will serve as the primary Sales Representative, influencing educational landscapes both domestically and globally.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Engagement: Partner with the Senior Vice President of Sales and Director of eLearning to develop strategic initiatives for engaging K-12 school districts.
District Sales: Act as the primary liaison for K-12 district sales, promoting and selling educational solutions, including language learning resources, digital and print publications, tutoring programs, and more.
Relationship Building: Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers within school districts, understanding their unique needs and requirements.
Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of educational products and services to effectively communicate their value proposition to potential customers.
Sales Growth: Devise and execute sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
Market Research: Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to inform product development and sales strategies.
Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, customer feedback, and market insights to the leadership team.
Customer Support: Deliver ongoing support to districts to ensure a positive experience with products and services.
Qualifications:

5+ years of proven experience in K-12 sales, demonstrating a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a related field.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex educational solutions to diverse audiences.
Strong relationship-building skills, fostering trust and rapport with district decision-makers.
Knowledge of the K-12 education market, including an understanding of district purchasing processes.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Strong prospecting skills, with the ability to negotiate and close deals.
Proficiency in Salesforce.
