Candidate requirements
Job specification - Conduct thorough assessments of patients with orthopedic conditions, identifying their physical and emotional needs.
- Monitor vital signs, pain levels, and surgical incisions, taking prompt action in case of complications.
- Assist in orthopedic surgeries, ensuring proper positioning, aseptic techniques, and instrumentation.
- Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, expected outcomes, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with physical therapists to develop and implement mobility and rehabilitation plans.
- Assist patients in regaining strength, range of motion, and independence in daily activities.
Candidate requirements - Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited Institution.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) in Alaska.
- 1 year experience.
- Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Previous experience in orthopedic nursing is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Empathy, patience, and dedication to providing exceptional patient care.
