This is a one year, or more, contract

This is a fulltime, onsite position, in Santa Ana

Rate - 1099 or C2C = $85 - $100/hr, W2 = $60 - $85/hr

If you are a CSO with 5+yrs in cybersecurity, please read on!

We are looking for:

• 5+yrs cybersecurity experience
• Certifications - CISA or CISM or CISSP or CRISC
• Knowledge of local/state/federal laws and regulations for cybersecurity/privacy/cyber crime
• Relevant Bachelors degree

It is a plus if you have:

• Government experience
• Relevant Masters degree

You will be responsible for:

• Planning, organization and direction of cyber risk activities
• Operate proactively and independently overseeing all aspects of cyber risk and security, under the direction of the Information Security Officer
• Develop cyber policies, processes, and methodologies to safeguard the Company's technology and data from security breaches
• Oversee appropriate cyber security tool acquisition and utilization
• Ensure security, with accessibility, of public safety systems
• Compliance with cyber regulations in interoperability with local, state, federal IT systems
• Be point of contact for all cyber issues
• Develop and conduct cyber risk training
