College of Education Position Title Research Associate, Center for Trans-Disciplinary Data Analytics Position Summary The Center for Trans-Disciplinary Data Analytics in the Bethune-Cookman University's College of Education seeks a graduate of biology with experience in conducting data investigations and delivering educational experiences to pre-college and college students using professionally collected datasets. The research associate will contribute to efforts in game-based learning and gamification within university courses. Responsibilities Design and implement data investigations. Design and implement Excel, Tableau and Data Investigations training workshops. Provide data flow, data curation and data analytics support to projects and researchers. Contribute to the writing of research reports, research proposals and research publications. Provide data capture and data analytics support to research projects. Support research mentoring and career development programs with interns and work- aid students. Performs other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology Graduate education (Masters) coursework that includes a curriculum on action research. Two years of experience in designing and leading training workshops on data investigations. College courses and research experiences include bioinformatics, genomics and data investigations. Expertise in constructing datasets and interactive visualizations. Certification in Workforce Development.
