Job Summary

Under minimal supervision this position works with external vendors and internal Revenue Cycle Leadership ensuring that systems meet organizational quality standards, systems, and processes used within Denver Health are compliant with industry practices. This role serves as the primary point of contact for their respective vendors assigned, communicating issues, training and operational activities.

Essential Functions :

Excellent knowledge and understanding of systems, software and hardware utilized in day to day operations.

Participate in targeted audits to ensure vendor compliance with legal requirements, firm and industry standards and contractual provisions

Assist with performance analysis, and produce reports and dashboards/scorecards with key vendor / resource metrics

Track SLA reporting and assess vendor performance against SLAs

Assist with developing process improvement recommendations and help to manage end to end implementation

Assist with vendor management training materials and facilitate sessions as needed

Assist with governance meeting preparation, tracking status, and enhancing associated reporting

Assist with invoice validation and reconciliation

Track and report on service requests to vendors

Maintain policy and procedure manuals

Other duties as assigned

Education :
Work Experience :

Five years or more of experience in the maintenance and support of healthcare systems or related field preferred. Application programming or application support experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

This role requires an both system and revenue cycle process requirements, strong communication skills, problem solving, and leadership skills. Individuals in this role must possess the ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain effectiveness while solving complex problems related to processes and procedures. This role provides customer service and support to a multi-diverse audience set and it is imperative that candidates in this position are creative, have excellent communication skills, the ability to coordinate projects, provide oversite, and are able assist and guide others on system limitations or capabilities.


Time management is imperative in this role as individuals must have the ability to meet target or deliverables for system or vendor implementations, additionally the individual should likely have strong negotiation and facilitation skills, ability to see the big picture and generate / adopt new ideas

Knowledge and ability of Revenue Cycle, the processes related, the importance of interaction of our purchased services / vendors. Ability to perform liaison capabilities with vendor, align with the needs of both the organization and the vendor to achieve SLAs. Understanding of hardware and software requirements for multiple departments assigned, as well as Epic and other Hospital Systems. Understands the workflow and process requirements of complex application systems. Working knowledge of accounts receivables and customer service. Skill sets to include 10-key by touch and typing a minimum of 35 words per minute (WPM). Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Possess the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel throughout the organization. Critical and analytical thinking, and organization and problem solving skills. Ability to prioritize work activities. Easily adapt to change. Ability to utilize various software applications and information systems to perform work processes.
