We are looking for Administrative Assistants to work in support of the Intelligence community.
Responsibilities:
- The Administrative Assistant (AA) will manage the principal's time by applying working knowledge of mission priorities, business area(s) and personal preferences, protocol, and organizational hierarchy to screen, vet and prioritize emails, visitors, and phone calls. The AA will prioritize unscheduled demands and determine the threshold of issues that need to rise to principal's attention, using sound judgment, considerable knowledge of the supported mission priorities, and working knowledge of Sponsor and IC concerns.
- The AA will place and answer phone calls for the principal; employing proper protocol and interact confidently and effectively on behalf of the principal by communicating orally and in writing his/her requirements and priorities on routine to moderately complex mission-related issues.
- The AA will draft clear, concise, hard and soft copy routine to moderately complex correspondence on behalf of the principal emulating his/her style and voice, and review correspondence and other documents to determine if question or concern is adequately addressed. Additionally, they will format, proofread, and edit correspondence and other documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, grammar, and conformance with Sponsor correspondence guidance.
- This position is for 1.0 FTE (1860.0 hours) with core hours of 8:00am -4:00pm.
Required Qualifications:
- Clearance: TS/SCI w FS Poly
- HS Diploma and 7 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and some team interaction.
