DESCRIPTION:
This position is an integral role within the leadership team of CB Mining. The position requires providing inspired leadership for the organization, with specific reasonability for the service and parts operations of the company, making important policy and strategic decisions, as well as development and implementation of policy and procedure to increase efficiency and enhance safety. Also, you will be responsible for coaching and building the team to help promote a company culture that encourages morale and performance, to achieve best in class service for the markets we serve.
This position must perform all of the following:
- Provide positive leadership for the organization
- Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions
- Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures

- Track and hold team accountable to company KPI's
- Ensure profitability by expense tracking expense and improving operational efficiency
- Insure a clean and safe work environment within the shops and warehouses
- Manage and develop personnel, team building
- Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
- Provide high level of support to GM and Ownership
- Provide seamless communication to both external and internal customers
- Grow aftermarket product support business
This position will also perform any combination of the following duties:
- Assess employee performance and provide guidance or recommend training needed to reach and maintain acceptable performance level
- Interview and hire new candidates to meet workload staffing requirements
- Foster good employee/management relations
- Decide upon and administer employee discipline as required, up to and including termination
- Assist the sales department and meet with customers as needed to plan, quote, negotiate deals as needed.
- Prioritize customer orders in an orderly manner to satisfy both CB and customer needs.
- Host team meetings to develop workload planning, review KPI's, and ensure team accountability.
- Monitor work order status with emphasis on closing work orders on a timely basis.
- Insure additional work, not included in the original scope, is effectively managed and advised to customers, for purpose of increased invoicing.
- Assist organization as needed to ensure the customers are being satisfied
- Work with demand planning and other processes as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and increase parts sales.
- Assist GM in developing budgets and review regularly to ensure goals are met.
- Assist the procurement group in finding vendor solutions for both MRS supplies and non-proprietary parts.
- Manage operations within the business to maximize cash flow.
- Monitor satellite operation in Midwest and South. Visit and manage workload of overall profitability. Attend customer visits with region managers to assist in operations capacity planning.
- Work with other company Cleveland Bros facilities, for subcontracts and overflow work.
- Actively involved in recruiting and developing new employees together with shop management.
- Active role in supporting safety culture in our facilities.
- Monitor quality issues with shop managers, to ensure customer resolution and satisfaction.
- Utilization of personal computers as well as literature sources such as DBS, SIS Web, Applicant Pool, service manuals, parts books, service warranty guides, etc; to find information on invoices, work orders, parts availability, repair procedures, flat rate pricing, product repair history, components under warranty coverage, and other similar information
- Work with direct reports and customers to generate a short- and long-term work schedules for repairs to be performed in the shop by utilizing available resources in the most cost-efficient manner while taking into consideration parts availability and delivery schedules
- Delegate responsibility, at the same time holding employees accountable.
- Align business resources to market levels and direction to maximize profitability.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and skills required:

- Comprehensive knowledge and experience of underground mining equipment and its application preferred
