Job Summary/Basic Function:

The Executive Assistant for Academic Affairs serves as the front-of-house for academic affairs at Dickinson College. This position has primary responsibility for assisting the Provost/Dean of the College in all aspects of their work, including project management, correspondence, and coordination of multiple calendars. This role also serves to coordinate the work of the Senior Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and the Senior Associate Provost for Integrated Student Academic Success. The executive assistant must be able to communicate and maintain effective relationships with a diverse group of constituents including but not limited to faculty, the academic affairs leadership team, senior staff at the College, members of the Board of Trustees, students, families, and alumni. This person must be knowledgeable about Dickinson, and able to learn and communicate our policies and procedures while supporting a fast-paced and multi-faceted office. The executive assistant for academic affairs should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively to support strategic initiatives of the office.

Two years of experience working at Dickinson, or a similar institution, or in a similar role may replace the required associate's degree.
