Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:
Principal Accountabilities:
- Perform CT scans on patients with flair: Prepare patients for CT scan (make them feel like VIPs), explain the procedure (show them you're the expert), administer contrast when necessary (a little drama doesn't hurt), position patients for the CT scan (make them feel like a movie star), select appropriate imaging techniques (you're the director!), and ensure the technical quality of the scan (the show must go on!).
- Enter and monitor patient data (you're the data master).
- Perform quality assurance on CT equipment (keep it top-notch). You might even help with accreditation applications (fame awaits!).
- Be the hero who identifies and reports any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management (Batman would be proud).
- Take emergency call within the department (your cape is ready).
- You might have to work weekends and float to other locations as needed (just like a CT scan, always on the move).
- Ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors (safety first, drama second); follow all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards (no improvisation here).
- Promote your own professional growth and development (level up!); support department-based goals (you're the role model).
- Be a mentor, preceptor, and resource to less experienced staff (the wise sage).
- Show your commitment to caring for every member of our community (you're a real-life superhero).
- Oh, and the usual: other duties as assigned (because every day is an adventure).
