The Department of Cancer Biology and Pharmacology of the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP) is now inviting applications for tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor level positions to expand its research programs in translational cancer research. Established federally funded mid-career investigators and early career investigators with outstanding training and a strong track record of scholarly productivity in cancer research, with an uncompromised commitment to a culture that is conducive to collaborative interdisciplinary research and to the promotion of diversity, equity and inclusion, and a genuine interest in contributing to the educational mission of the medical school are highly encouraged to apply.  The selected candidates will be expected to develop a vibrant and highly interactive research program, to aggressively seek federal funding, and to teach our medical students.

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.V.M./Ph.D., D.M.D./Ph.D., D.D.S./Ph.D., D.O./Ph.D. in basic/translational research in cancer, with at least 3 years of postdoctoral training in cancer research and a solid record of scholarly productivity, as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications, fellowship and grant awards, and participation in national and international conferences.
