Job description

The Loan Operations Senior Manager is responsible for managing and continuously improving the operational lending process across the company (commercial, consumer, and mortgage). Provides recommendations toward corporate strategic vision and develops aligned department goals. Continuously accesses the quality of work, incoming volumes, productivity, capacity, SLAs and compliance metrics. Develops and manages the team by coaching, training, and recruiting talent to ensure knowledge of current software systems and best practices. Develops relationships with internal departments and vendors to enhance performance of the organization. Serves as change agent to identify and implement improvements within operations. Maintain policies and procedures to include compliance with required regulations pertaining to lending pre- and post-closing activities. This position will provide oversite, support, training, and back up to (1) Loan Operations Processing Manager, (2) Loan Operations Servicing Manager, and (3) Records Management and Logistics Supervisor.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 10 years professional experience
• Minimum of 5 years of related loan operations leadership experience required
• In-depth knowledge of regulations, principles, practices, policies, and procedures related to loan operations required
• Strong knowledge of core banking systems, servicing systems, and loan origination platforms (Jack Henry SilverLake and Abrigo desired)
• Proven leadership communication skills and experience partnering with sales leaders, credit officers, and executive level leaders (CFO, CRO)
• Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques and ability to understand, monitor, update, or enhance existing business or work processes.
• Knowledge of and ability to design, implement and evaluate standard operating procedures affecting daily and strategic business operations in order to increase operational efficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across lines of business, vendors, and other support functions
• Self-starter, results-oriented required
• Maintains high standards of personal integrity and accountability
