DESCRIPTION

Under supervision, incumbent will manage a radiology research laboratory that images animals using different types of imaging scanners. Duties will include animal handling, anesthesia, injection of contrast agents and radiotracers, and anesthesia maintenance & recovery. The incumbent will manage the day-to-day operations of the lab, schedule shared resource equipment, and order & maintain the supplies and chemicals. The incumbent will instruct postdoctoral scholars, graduate students and other staff members various aspects of the research program including the use of animals, develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the orderly function of the laboratory.

Annual Full Pay Range: $58,548 - $94,190 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $28.04 - $45.11
