Job description
As our Marketing Coordinator (Florida), you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the way we connect with our audience. From regional & store level marketing and event planning to social media management and content creation, you'll ensure our marketing activities are not only aligned with our business objectives but also resonate with our community.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Lead Local Marketing Efforts: Create actionable marketing plans for your assigned region and store locations. Work closely with local teams & Corporate Marketing to ensure the seamless execution of marketing plans, campaigns, and projects.
- Event Planning & Promotion: Take charge of the coordination & promotion of regional events, managing logistics, attendees, materials, and promotions to ensure success.
- Social Media and Content Creation: Manage assigned social media channels, engage with our community, and assist in the creation of content for social media and our website.
- Cross-Functional Communication & Collaboration: Communicate directly with regional leadership, sales, & other various business functions to ensure alignment of Corporate Marketing efforts with local objectives.
- Merchandising & Signage: Oversee the selection and distribution of point-of-purchase (POP) materials, marketing collateral, apparel, signage, promotional items, and more.
- Internal Communications: Foster a positive culture at The Boat House through employee events, internal newsletters, and other employee engagement initiatives that create a sense of belonging.
- Continuous Learning: Commit to growing your knowledge and skills in marketing through continuous education and professional development.
What We're Looking For:
- Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in marketing, event planning, project management, or a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications/PR or Sales (preferred)
- Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in digital and social media marketing strategies.
- Creativity and the ability to produce engaging content.
- Experience with project management tools and social media platforms.

This position will be Full-time Monday through Friday with occasional weekend days required for events as well as boat shows. This position will be based out of our Cape Coral office with some travel to our other Florida locations as needed.
