National Showroom Independent Sales Rep Manager (Full Time)
Industry: Importing, distribution, and Ecommerce
Location: Remote with availability to regularly travel to headquarters in Tallahassee, FL. Candidates within a six-hour driving radius or direct flight path to Tallahassee will be given priority.
Compensation: Annual salary commensurate with experience + a full benefit package (see below for details)
Summary of Qualifications:
- 8+ years of sales experience
- 5+ years of sales team oversight/management experience
- College degree in marketing, business, or relevant field (preferred)
- Ability to travel domestically about 20% of the time
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening

As Golden Lighting is in an exciting growth phase, we are searching for a motivated and "hungry" National Showroom Independent Sales Rep Manager to join our team.
About this position: The National Showroom Independent Sales Rep Manager will develop sales plans for our 26+ independent sales representatives/agencies to meet our sales and margin expectations. They will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives by motivating sales representatives, networking, and planning for national lighting tradeshows. In addition, the National Showroom Independent Sales Rep Manager will be responsible for meeting annual targets, building relationships, and understanding customer trends. In this position, your networking and relationship building efforts would contribute to the success of your independent reps' sales pipelines.

Essential Functions of the National Showroom Independent Sales Rep Manager:
- Develop sales targets for the independent sales representatives
- Lead and motivate the sales representative team, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve goals
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team
- Develop and execute sales plans across showrooms to deliver sales and gross margin expectations
- Maintain sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors, and supply & demand
- Establish a sales model for new business streams, such as builders trade and designers’ markets to grow YOY sales
- Extend sales channels to include Ecommerce sales associated with showroom customers
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
- Identify potential new business partners and establish strong relationships
- Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow loyalty and business
- Partner with internal design and marketing teams for all product and marketing needs, developing products to assist with growth strategies
- Conduct regular business reviews with key business partners to identify opportunities for growth and address any challenges
- Provide accurate sales forecasting for your sales channel to assist with demand planning
- Prepare sales reports highlighting key insights and recommendations for the business
Requirements
This job might be for you if you:
- Have 8+ years of sales experience
- Have 5+ years of leadership/management experience mentoring other sales employees
- Are able to work in a 'hands on' manner as well as with strategic business development
- Have a high level of energy, and contagious enthusiasm
- Are highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Are able to effectively explain your thoughts, ideas, and analysis results (both written and oral)
- Have experience with a CRM or ERP system
- Can successfully pass a background check and drug screening
- Are comfortable traveling domestically a few times a year (approximately 20% travel)
At this time we are focusing on applicants that either live in, are willing to relocate to, or can easily travel on a regular basis to Tallahassee, FL.
