Job description
Amongst the responsibilities of field service technicians working on the Strategic Partnership Team include, delivering exceptional service, addressing the unique needs of our major accounts, and ensuring that our business relationship remains professional, mutually profitable, and enjoyable.
PT is looking for self-motivated field service technician , located near a major airport to travel throughout North America to our most strategic client sites.

Your future role
- Promote health & safety to mitigate risks and safety issues
- Manage uptime by proactively identifying and addressing customers’ challenges
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrade installation and audit of Premier Tech equipment at our various clients’ sites
- Advise and train customers on the equipment
- Understand and integrate customer operations and management needs into clear actions and recommendations
- Facilitate a harmonious relationship with customers and team members across functions
- Reports daily on activity, book travels, and report timesheet & expenses in timely manner
- Maintain availability for communication with management and customer after hours
- Promote services, parts, retrofits and training recommendations to customers in line with helping them reach their objectives
- Test equipment to ensure it meets safety regulations, adhering to the highest standards of quality and compliance in all service operations

- Build positive relationships and connect with various individuals in cross-functional teams within customer organizations
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development to better serve evolving customer needs

- Take time to observe and document results in connection with customer's expressed needs and requirements
- Proactively communicate to internal stakeholders any opportunities and needs related to the strategic partnership
- Foster a culture of continuous learning within the team sharing knowledge and experience with fellow technicians
- Overall, proactively contributing to the Client Solutions Team growth and evolution
Qualifications
- At least one year as an active field service technician for Premier Tech
- High safety proficiency
- Consultative selling skills
- Great communication and training skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Adapt to a changing travel and work schedule
- Work up to 12 hours per day, possibly nights and weekends per customer request
- Travel a minimum of 75%
