Job Description:

Summary
Develops, promotes, and delivers program(s) in an academic, research, administrative, or other setting. Coordinates program services and activities. Responsible for daily operations.

Example of Duties

•Various project management and coordination duties as it pertains to the corporate engagement and marketing strategies of Economic Development & Industry Relations (EDIR), ISU Research Park, and ISU Digital Ag.

•Various project management and coordination of workforce initiatives such as upskill training sessions, K-12 outreach initiatives and programmatic events.

•Coordinate ISURP intern program including workflow management, ISURP corporate intern outreach program, and CALS communications studies partnership.
• Manages multiple marketing programs to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with the objectives of the university.
• Plans, monitors, and manages an internal or external constituents including outsource vendors from initiation through completion.
• Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, and staffing for assigned program.
• Monitors and manages budget and ensures that the program meets the overall objectives of the university.
• Develops public relations initiatives, workshops, seminars, surveys, or other activities to promote programs and carry out its objectives.
• Acts as a representative of the program.
• Participates in project management and events management as needed.
• May secure external funding as needed.

Level Guidelines
• Intermediate-level position with solid professional and/or technical skills working under general supervision to achieve goals
• Applies broad, working knowledge of the principles of the field to moderately complex, difficult, and varied problems and issues
• Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action and resolve problems
• Responds to a broad range of inquiries and requests
• May provide training and/or direction to lower-level staff
• May lead projects of moderate scope and complexity
• Provides guidance to students
