As a Spa / Retail Manager at European Wax Center, you will use your expertise to ensure every moment is an opportunity for confidence! European Wax Center South Elgin is seeking a highly motivated individual to lead a team to excellence within a growing franchise organization. The spa / retail manager will provide leadership and guidance to the team to ensure the best experience for our customers and employees. The spa / retail manager will focus on building and growing the company culture through our brand values, vision, and mission. The spa / retail manager will have the opportunity to develop a team of sales associates and wax specialists and help them achieve success and growth. What we are looking for: * Ability to work 40 flexible hours per week including a weekend day each week and some evenings while being ‘on call’ to handle critical business issues and emergencies as needed
- Experience coaching and motivating a team with confidence with an ability adjust to various learning styles
- Strong Conflict Resolution and Problem Solving Skills
- Professional and articulate communication skills
- Comfortable with computers, internet, Microsoft Office
- 2 or more years Retail or Beauty Sales Experience Required
- 1 year Management Experience Required
- Reliable means of transportation
- Licensed Esthetician or Cosmetologist Preferred
- College Graduate Preferred

- Clearly communicate business goals, contests and performance expectations to all team members
- Lead and inspire by example in all interactions with guests and team members
- Submit payroll and other operating reports as well as follow-up on store activities
- Maintain brand visual and cleanliness standards
- Manage and adjust schedules to meet business goals
- Minimize loss by following loss prevention best practices
