Position Summary: Our clients are in search of a Finish Carpenter who would like to work for a private family as an Assistant Property Manager. The residence is in Boca Raton, FL. The family is adding a new role that will help ensure the property is impeccably maintained. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in finish carpentry, previous experience in construction or yacht refinishing, a commitment to upholding the high standards set by the principals, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities: Coordinate with the Property Manager and report any issues. Daily walkthrough of the property and residence. Coordinate, oversee, and manage repairs, building maintenance, and landscaping work performed by vendors and contractors. Ensure the residence is properly secured. Perform preventative and general maintenance (power washing, sweeping the lanai, etc.). Regularly inspect all systems and ensure they are in proper working order. Keep vehicles fully serviced and properly stored. Regularly assist with driving and errands. Ensure the residence is ready for family and guest visits. Handle administrative duties, manage calendars, sort mail, correspond in a timely manner with other team members. Qualifications: It is important that this individual has a foundation in construction or trades specifically in Finish Carpentry. The successful candidate will have experience caring for and maintaining fine homes, yachts, or luxury hospitality properties. A broad knowledge of residential systems and a proven record of successful property and vendor management are important. A professional demeanor, a strong hands-on work ethic, and the willingness to learn are key. Strong oral and written communication skills and an eye for detail are important. Schedule: Generally, Monday Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with flexibility for occasional extended hours. Compensation: $93,600-$104,00 with an annual discretionary bonus and benefits (healthcare stipend, PTO, and paid holidays).
