Medical Billing and Denials, Wayne, NJ. $24 to $28.hour
Hours: 10-6:30 or 9:30-6
- Working knowledge of ICD-10 codes and CPT codes as well as government and other payer billing and collections rules and regulation.
- Knowledge of Nextech/Athena billing process.
- Knowledge of medical policies per insurance carrier.
- Knowledge of ophthalmology terminology.
- Experience verifying insurance benefits.
- Ability to understand an insurance claim (Explanation of Benefits).
- Knowledge of the insurance denial process.
- Experience speaking to insurance companies.
- Work closely with collections in coordinating efforts regarding appeals, denials, resubmissions, and inquires related to determination of payment.
- Knowledge of authorizations, excellent follow up.
- **Must be able to multi-task, be a team player and have great communication skills**
13 PTO (includes 5 sick days), Aetna Medical, Dental and Vision, 401K.
