Job Summary:
The Front Desk at Anytime Fitness - Ocala, FL is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and promoting sales within the gym. This position is part-time and hourly, requiring individual contribution to the team. As a member of our franchise industry, the Front Desk will play a crucial role in maintaining the positive and welcoming environment our members expect at Anytime Fitness. This role is based at our location in Ocala, Florida, located at 3290 South East 58th Ave.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Front Desk position offers a competitive hourly wage of $15 per hour, paid weekly. The successful candidate will also have access to valuable benefits including discounted gym membership, training and development opportunities, and potential for advancement within our company.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to current and potential members by greeting them with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Give tours of the gym and communicate the benefits of membership to potential customers
- Process new membership sign-ups and assist with any account inquiries or issues
- Meet monthly sales goals by actively promoting membership options and upselling additional services
- Keep the front desk area and lobby clean and organized
- Respond to phone and email inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with gym cleanliness and maintenance as needed
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience, preferably in a gym or fitness setting
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when necessary
